🔷Food/drinks: Slovak cuisine is unique. True Slovak food and recipes are really only available in Slovakia itself, all other versions are not really authentic. Slovak cuisine was greatly influenced by the food of two neighboring countries - Hungary and Austria and to add to the spice of life,  the dishes vary from one region to the next, just like the traditonal clothing.

The Slovak dishes use items such as pork, poultry, cabbage, wheat and potato flour, cheese from cows and sheep, potatoes, onions and garlic. Rice also is widely-incorporated in Slovak homes and restaurants. Beans, corn on the cob, lentils, parsley,  carrots and other vegetables are often used to create soup dishes and other dishes in all Slovakia.  Fruit like apples, plums, apricots, peaches, plums and cherries are side dishes alongside the main meal in Slovakia.

Pork, beef and chicken are the most popular meats used in Slovak food. Meat from wild animals such as rabbit and venison are widely used in Slovak restaurants and also appear now and again in private Slovakian households. Bread is well-known in Slovakia. Black bread (rye bread) is a direct influence from Austria and many Slovaks eat bread for breakfast or for lunch with soup and very frequently for their evening meal.

Most Slovaks eat breakfast very early and tuck into different types of Slovakian bread with butter, ham, cheese, boiled or fried eggs, salami, vegetables, sausages and either jam or honey to round the meal off. Some people prefer cereals of various choices or yoghurt.  The main meal of the day is lunch, eaten at about mid-day. Many restaurants in Slovakia offer a daily menu where there is a choice between dishes served between 11 a.m. to 2,30 in the afternoon. A typical Slovakian lunch consists of soup and the main course. The main course is usually meat, pasta or a sweet dish.

The Slovak people have a few best-loved drinks including (naturally) beer, wine and traditional Slovak slivovica. Beer is hugely popular amongst old and young alike. There is a huge range to choose from and each region produces its own variety. The most popular Slovak beers include Zlaty Bazant, Corgon, Saris, Smadny mnich or Topvar - bottled or draught.

Wine is a very popular drink in Slovakia. The grapes from which the wine is made grow in the southern  areas of the country. Tokaj is probably the best-known label. Slivovica (made from plums) and Borovicka (made from juniper berries) are traditional alcoholic drinks always popular in Slovakia.

Vinea is a traditional soft drink made from grape juice with no aromatic or synthetic colouring additives, stabilized by pasteurization. Kofola is a traditional Slovak kofola (cola's competition) and is also very popular among Slovak people. In the past kofola was only available draught. Nowadays you can buy both drinks bottled or draught in bars, pubs and some restaurants.

Slovakia is rich in mineral water springs. There are a lot of mineral water springs in Slovakia. Bottled mineral water is sold in different bottle sizes; available sparkling or non sparkling mineral water. Mineral water is a popular soft drink in Slovakia.

Coffee is also a very popular drink in Slovakia. Slovak people drink different types of coffee including Turkish style coffee, Nescafe, espresso or cappuccino. Drinking coffee is also a cultural event. Slovak people go out for coffee just as they go out for beer.

🔹Body type: hourglass, only slightly curvy though because she's slender and tall. Almost a ruler shape but barely passes as a hourglass figure because of a slightly pinched waist. She is also slightly toned due to how active slovaks are. She will go hiking, running and a few other things to pass time.

🔹 hair: down and let go her hair is straight at the top until slightly below where her neck begins, then it become messy and curly in many layers. While the color of her hair is a copper auburn color to represent the rich soil such the picture above. Her curly hair represents the dense forests (which cover 40% of the entire country) and rocky mountains of the Tatras. Tho with this hair it is usually tied up, like this traditional hairstyle from the village Čataj in western slovakia: slovak-folk-costumes.tumblr.co… but instead of the headband ribbon there is a bow tied into the bottom of it with red thick ribbon which are commonly worn all over slovakia. Her side bangs are left out of the braids usually and are flat ironed now a days. The bangs are swept to the right and the rest of her hair is pulled into the braids. Those braids aren't perfect she doesn't waste extra time to control her messy layered hair so she has some strands sticking out of the braids.

🔹Eyes: mostly a bright almost forest green on the top with a lighter blue near her pupil and leaning towards the lower half. It's is very common for slovaks to have large eyes, I made her eyes a turquoise/blue-green color for of a few reasons. 1) Poland is her brother, so I made Slovakia's eyes also partially green. Also Hungary has green eyes, and because Slovakia almost 1000 years under her rule, this is another reason why is green eyecolor good choice, also Hungarians make up 8% of the population as the largest ethnic group other than slovaks. There are also lots of forests in Slovakia (40% of the entire country is covered in them) and Slovaks generaly love nature. The blue is also there and mixed because her other brother czech has bright blue eyes and blue is (un)official single national color of Slovakia (official is tricolor white-blue-red). And the blue triangle on flag of Czechoslovakia (note: today has same flag Czech Republic) represented Slovakia. For that same reason her eyes were much more visibility blue durning Czechoslovakia or in pictures they appeared that way. Water is represented by blue, and in Slovakia are lots of rivers, and one of the biggest natural drinking water supplies in Central Europe. 

She has larger eyes which is very common especially with lighter eyes. Her eyes tend to be an almond shape and longer eyelashes to make them pop out being that slovakia's nature is a prominent feature. Also her hair is thick along with her eyebrows so her eyelashes shouldn't be any different. 

🔹Eyebrows: large and round eyebrows that are slightly closer to her eyes that often make her look grumpier than she actually is. 🔹Nose: she has a medium sized nose that is only slightly curved like a hawk nose, it's often described as refined and is part of her slavic charm. I also gave her this nose becuase Russia, has a lagre hawkish nose and to add that they are cousins and I head cannon ukraine with the nose as well could be part that the Slavs which were from the east are the slovaks ancestors. 🔹Lips: she has slightly thin to average lips due to the cold to freezing temptations on the Tatras and simply around the country. 

🔹Scars: Her noticeable scar is on the left side of her neck which represents the Černová massacre. Another scar (which is a burn) and the largest is on the side of her torso, which represents the 90 villages that were burned and the 8,000 killed from the slovak national uprising. She also has smaller faded random scars from her past. Like from the ottoman invasion, the mongols, the soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia, and ect.

🔹Personality: she's the type of nation that tends to be more sociable with her inhabitants than most mother nations. Being that slovaks are very social but only with closer friends. They love going out with friends and such. Though at the same time slovakia tends be on the quieter side mostly because she's outspoken a lot, which is one reason of why she doesn't have a lot of confidence in her abilities. For example you probably won't see a lot of slovak flags out unless in the Olympics or big events like that.

 She isn't much of a talker or the social butterfly (with other nations at least) mostly because a lot of major trading partners are inside of Europe. So she's not really outgoing unless its those around her (you can almost take that literally ). which also makes her appear to be slightly awkward at times. 

Slovakia learns from her mistakes and from that she is a hard worker and has been for a long time. And this leads to her business side which is noticed and commented by a lot of tourists (especially by Germans). Which is one reason why she doesn't get very many jokes, since she is a literal women. But even with that is said that she gets her work done but is not at all in a rush. She the type who doesn't have a system but is organized at the same time. 

One of her MANY bad tendencies is her stubbornness. She's incredibly stubborn especially when it come to Hungary, or competitions just in general. A modern instance is with the Greek debt problem, being that she didn't want to pay for a country who was in fact richer than herself. Also she definitely thinks that her hockey team is one of the best, if not the best in the world and doesn't really like it when you say (or suggest) otherwise. And she is the best at canoeing, you cannot convince her otherwise. Since independence they have gotten a metal at every single Olympics for the sport and have own dozens of international events (male and female). 

Being a smaller nation she is also pushed around often. But doesn't always hate it, being that she feels that she has a habit of making bad decisions. Which is no help to her confidence at all. She even goes to the point where only 5% of Slovaks own their own businesses and 80% of Slovakia's inhabitants are Slovaks... But being pushed around has had a pretty negative effect on her, She does not trust easily, after a few betrayals as well has made it hard for her to open up to others, especially countries. She quite clear that she doesn't expect your trust at first either, or she just doesn't look trustworthy. It's something with her. 

Another one of her characteristics is that when she does talk she's incredibly blunt. Being that there really isn't "small talk" (again very literal) in slovakia. 

One of her most distinct features is her sense of hospitality, if you tell her your coming over there will be a ton of snacks, and drinks. And if you come unexpectedly she will offer food and snacks (a very common stereotype and fact about them). And with the American pilots that crashed in Slovakia they were treated as the Slovaks own family and most tried her best to protect them; like they were her own children, like most did. Where she does show her hint of her motherly nature.  

But as a side note she loves parties, clubs, and beer/wine. It must run in the family. 

When in negative terms she has a very sharp tongue. She'll curse whether there are people around or not. But since these emotions tend to appear a lot it would sometimes give her a negative appearance. Especially when she is a quieter nation and that might be all that others hears. Which is a common stereotype in Slovakia, but mostly when drinking. And she is an angry drinker. 

she enjoys many hobbies and hates to just sit down and do nothing. but she is never in a rush to do everything. she goes at a moderate pace and always gets her job done on time. she enjoys to spend her time wisely, because of the very important roles of women in Slovakia. they are meant to not only support the family, but have a good full time job. Only five percent of women do work part time and she is not one of those women. In Europe Slovakia works the longest and most night-shifts. she loves many hobbies many are cultural. Throughout Slovakia there are artists selling painted Easter eggs, cornhusk figures, hand-knit sweaters, wood carvings, walking sticks, cuckoo clocks, and toys, and she herself also enjoys that. 

🔹Hobbies: engineering especially care and other machinery, especially in the car industry, folk dancing, hiking, rock climbing, and HOCKEY, she's incredibly good at canoeing being that every year that they have been in the oylmpics shes has gotten a metal and has won many world championships, and is pretty active though hiking and other sports, also she likes to go out on weekends to clubs and bars. Slovak artists are well known for their pottery works. They also make small porcelain figurines. Throughout Slovakia there are artists selling painted Easter eggs, cornhusk figures, hand-knit sweaters, wood carvings, walking sticks, cuckoo clocks, and toys of many varieties. Popular hobbies for women are sewing, embroidering, and lacemaking. Most embroidery work is done in the winter, and many designs have special names: the "lover's eye" or the "little widow." Sewing skills are also used for making traditional Slovak costumes. Other crafts include metalworking and woodcarving.

🔹Vices: STUBBORN, sassy, acts cold sometimes, pressured into stuff regularly, has a slightly dark humor, appears to be rude, has a very low confidence, is way to blunt, and keeps to her own language if she can even if others hate it, "do what it takes" attitude, overprotective (sometimes), 

🔹Virtues: quiet, hard working, hospitable, kind, gets her work done, honest, doesn't rush, not uptight, and tries to finish what she starts, she active, and extremely humble. 

🔹Likes: the Tatras, hiking, loves engineering, hockey, forests (being that forty percent of the country is covered with them), chaimois, a bunch of other outdoor activities, loves high calorie foods, she also likes white stags (they are seen as good luck and it's bad luck to kill one of them)

🔹Dislikes: Speaking Hungarian due to magrzation (she's stubborn as hell), bad remarks about her intelligence (she takes those seriously), loud/annoying people, being oppressed, called the "other half" of Czechoslovakia, hostel..., hostel 2, hostel 3, and being called "the black hole of Europe."

🔹Fears: Slovakia's two biggest fears are loneliness and betrayal. Loneliness because - as I mentioned she loves company, but she has huge trust issues and thus trouble to open up to people she doesn't know well. Also she's not exactly the most important nation around so her neighbours tend to ignore/not notice her, not to mention the Slovenia thing. Which she has been led to often make quiet remarks in the background feeling that some nations would listen. When feeling lonely she usually turns to her own people, but it's not same as "her kind". And then there's betrayal... this is the reason she has trust issues, Slov was betrayed too many times until she developed a type of paranoia and an inability to open up to and trust others quickly(she's social and friendly person but in the same time is very private and keeps her distance). She's fine if Poland or czech flings themselfs at her (like a hug) but most people she's generally uncomfortable with touching. Ex: Like if America or Italy did the same. ((From dokudoki))
